ITALY

Transumance trought Tuscany

In summer 2015 I had the opportunity to follow for a few days the re-enactment of a transhumance of Maremma horses and cows across Tuscany, from Vulci to Arezzo, on the physical and mnemonic traces of the great tradition of the Butteri delle Maremme.

Tribute to Florence

I have traveled the world but it is in Florence and Tuscany that I always come back. Suspended between an all too obvious beauty and the discomfort of an oppressive and chaotic hyper-tourism that is hitting her heart, buying her soul, Florence is a very difficult city to photograph, a city that must be taken by surprise, and she will surprise you again. Sometimes ten seconds of silence are enough, an oblique light at dawn, a reflection on the slippery stones of the streets of Oltrarno …

ITALY - EMILIA ROMAGNA

Rimini Winter

How does the most famous beach of the Adriatic change when the tourist season is far away and the days of sunshine and music appear blurred in the memory, while the world around sleeps its foggy, fascinating lethargy.

ITALIA

A trip to Tuscany

I can't say what makes Tuscany a special place. A miraculous balance between history and nature? The place where Humanism was born? The extraordinary morphological, human and artistic richness? Each definition is true and false at the same time, and certainly approximate. The only certainty is that beautiful things, like great loves, don't need many explanations. They are made only to be lived.
